Top Nutrition and Diet Tips for Post-C-Section Recovery
by Marika Luukkonen
Registered Midwife, DHSc
My name is Sari Haapio and I am a lecturer at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. I am a Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc) and Master of Health Sciences (MHS) with a teaching degree, and I am also a Registered Midwife. I utilise my background in research by directing university students in writing their dissertations, and by contributing to a range of projects and research activities. I am especially interested in intervention study and putting evidence-based research into clinical practice, services, and products. I also actively teach midwifery students. I worked as a midwife in a clinical setting for almost 10 years, both in delivery rooms and paediatric wards. I love to spend my free time playing frisbee golf, spinning, and spending summers in my holiday home.
