See what other moms have to say about their recovery experience!
My favorite must have pregnancy product was my lola&lykke pregnancy support band and now that I have started my postpartum journey for the third time I have been loving their Core Restore band
Myself a mum of six am always putting myself last... I've been suffering with bad back pain ( years of slouching thats pre kids to!) Especially when feeding the babies, I tend to slump forward trying to make their latch perfect and them comfortable but making myself in agony... the band wraps about your body giving you better posture. It basically a big hug for your body.
I've seen a major improvement in my posture which has eased the pain in my back and tummy when feeding, and even my tummy feels tighter and firmer already!
It's so easy to put on and can be hidden under your normal clothes or worn over them.
I wasn't sure whether I would need the belt or whether it would be comfortable to wear, but as soon as I put it on, there were no doubts. It immediately "removed" the tension in the lower back, beautified my postpartum belly, I felt as if I had not given birth! I am satisfied with the effect and the result after using it!
I've tried some post C-section belly band but this core restore support band is the best that I've tried on yet. I love that it is super soft and super-elastic that perfectly sits over the abdominal area.
It’s going to be 9 weeks post c section tomorrow and this time around I feel much stronger quicker and feel as if my recovery has been quicker too! Having my core supported by this band has really helped. It keeps my posture straight and supports the core muscles so they can heal!
It made it less painful in the early days, especially when I would sneeze or cough. It was also amazing support for the first drive home from the hospital! So although I haven’t lost as much weight as I would like and I have a mummy tummy! I feel stronger everyday!
Pregnancy puts your body through a lot of changes, and carrying twins was HARD! I've been wearing my core restore band to readjust and recover, it has really helped me to get back to me. I can now go for walks and get myself out of the bath. My posture is probably the best I've ever been.
As a mother we often spend so much time supporting others, we can forget to look after ourselves... I experienced abdominal separation while pregnant with Noah so the extra support to my core has been a big help with my recovery. It's recommended by my physio and it definitely helped me out on my walks especially in the early weeks.
I am now 8 weeks post partum. I had an emergency c section and also have diastasis recti. I have always had to work relatively hard to stay in shape pre pregnancy.
So when I saw the post natal belt, which has been approved by physios and midwives... I knew it was something I wanted to try.
I have to say I am glad I have and I would genuinely recommend this to anyone looking to get active post birth! I mainly wear the belt when gently exercising, it gives me the peace of mind that my core is correctly supported.
These pictures were all taken side by side, with the belt, without the belt and pulling down those flattering high waisted leggings
After birth you still have pregnancy hormones (which helped relax your ligaments) circulating around your body. Many new mummies describe a real feeling of emptiness and openness during the postnatal period. After I had Georgie I really felt this too. When I was picking her up I could also feel the strain on my lower back in particular.
@lolalykke_formums lent me a postnatal support band to try and it is really helping to aid my recovery and reduce that feeling of openness alongside providing extra support for both my back and abdominals. The Velcro panels are so comfortable and adjustable too, it has been great.
I have been wearing it a week now and already noticed a difference, I feel supported and held up straight, My stomach has started to change shape slightly and my jeans feel looser around the “C section pouch” you know what I mean if you have had one!
Would I recommend one? Absolutely if you have had a c section or natural delivery I highly recommend one of these belts, they do a beautiful new mum gift box with washable breast pads, the support belt and every mums best friend - buggy clips to attach your shopping, handbag or changing bag. These are perfect for a baby shower gift list or even just the belt on its own.
1 week postpartum - wearing the support band from Lolalykke - 1 month postpartum. I'm super happy with the result!
My 3 week postpartum reality is Mum bun, maternity leggings, baby sick on my shirt, my lola lykke core restore band saving my back, a gallon of coffee saving my sanity & bags under my eyes big enough for your weekly food shop. Highly recommended this for other mums suffering with back pain

My physio was impressed!!
I was at physio today and he was shocked at how much better my stomach is and I've been using the band for only a week!
I've been wearing the band over a week now and can't believe the difference in my tummy. The support is brilliant and helps keep my posture correct when feeding. It's soft and comfortable to wear and easy to open when you need to use bathroom. Would highly recommend. So far so good will definitely continue to wear for the next couple of months!
Amazing
This is also a great product…The texture was good…I was comfortable using it the whole day…😊😊😊
