There’s so much to love about life with a baby, but let’s be honest — there are also those nights when you’re up every hour, days that feel like a bit of a blur, and moments when you wish you had at least two extra pairs of hands. 😂

Maybe that’s exactly why I’ve started appreciating the little things that make everyday life just a little bit easier. There’s so much we can’t control, like how much sleep we get at night 😅, so I love finding ways to simplify the things we can control.

From the beginning, it’s also been important to me that our baby becomes part of our life, rather than our entire life coming to a stop around the baby. Of course, our little one is the priority, and taking care of a baby takes up a lot of time. But I still want to work out, spend time with our toddler, get some work done, take care of my business — and sometimes, just be me.

I got to try the Bloome hands-free breast pump by Lola&Lykke, and it’s been one of those little everyday helpers that I’ve genuinely come to appreciate. ❤️ Having my hands free means I can do other things at the same time — play with our toddler, prepare a meal, open my laptop, or simply just be for a moment.

And honestly, at this stage of life, the easier we can make the little things, the better. Life with a baby can be chaotic enough as it is, so why make things harder than they need to be? Sometimes, taking the easy route is exactly what you need — or crawling right under the fence instead of trying to jump over it. 😂

I also love that the pump looks beautiful, feels comfortable to use, and is quiet. It makes pumping feel a little less like another task on the to-do list and a little more like something that fits naturally into everyday life.

Because sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. ❤️
