Bloome Essentials pairs the Single Bloome Wearable Breast Pump with MilkCatch+ so you can pump from one breast while collecting natural let-down from the other. MilkCatch+ can also be worn while breastfeeding or between pumping sessions to collect natural leakage.
Follow the steps below for a quick overview. For complete product instructions, please refer to the relevant user manual.
Before First Use
- Wash and sterilise all washable Bloome pump parts and MilkCatch+ components according to their individual care instructions.
- Check that all components are clean, completely dry and free from damage before use.
Using Bloome & MilkCatch+ Together
1. Assemble Bloome, making sure the valve, diaphragm, 180 ml collection cup and cushion are securely fitted with no gaps.
2. Assemble one MilkCatch+ by inserting the collection cup securely into the silicone pad.
3. Place Bloome on the breast you want to pump, centring your nipple in the cushion tunnel. Place MilkCatch+ on the opposite breast, with your nipple centred in the opening.
4. Position both products securely inside your bra. Keep Bloome upright throughout your pumping session to help maintain suction and prevent leaks.
5. Press and hold the Bloome power button to switch on the pump, then press and hold again to begin pumping.
6. Choose between Wake, Rhythm, Flow and Surge modes using the M button and adjust the suction using the + and – buttons until it feels comfortable.
7. If you would like to use warmth, press the heating button and select your preferred temperature level (H1–H4).
8. MilkCatch+ will collect any natural let-down from the opposite breast while you pump. It does not create suction or stimulate milk let-down.
9. When you have finished pumping, switch off Bloome, gently release the seal with your finger and remove both products while keeping them upright.
Using MilkCatch+ Between Pumping Sessions
MilkCatch+ can also be worn on the opposite breast while breastfeeding or on both breasts to collect natural leakage throughout the day. Check the milk level regularly and empty the collector before it becomes full.
Remove the collection cups every 2–3 hours to allow your nipples to air dry. Pour collected milk into a suitable bottle or storage bag using the easy-pour spout.
