4. After pumping, tap the power button to turn off. Place the dust cap over the shield to keep it clean.
Breast Milk Storage Bag User Instructions:
1. Prep & Assemble
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Open the milk storage bag and connect it to the Smart Electric Breast Pump by using the adapter provided.
2. Pump & Fill
Begin pumping and monitor the milk level—do not overfill. Do not fill bag past the 150ml mark, as breast milk expands when it freezes.
Tip: If you plan to feed directly from the bag after pumping, you can go ahead and skip to step 6.
3. Seal & Label
Carefully press out excess air and tightly seal the screw cap onto the milk storage bag. Write the date of expression on the label area before storing.
4. Store Smart
Lay bags flat in the freezer for quicker freezing and thawing. Store upright in the fridge if using within a few days.
5. Thaw & Prepare
Thaw overnight in the fridge or under running warm water (max 37°C). Gently shake to mix separated milk. Thawed milk can be kept in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Do not microwave, boil, or refreeze thawed milk.
6. Feed Safely
Attach a bottle teat using the adapter to feed directly from the bag. Never leave your baby unattended with a feeding bag.
NOTE! The seams of the milk bags are heat-sealed. This means that they don't always automatically open up to allow for maximum capacity to be pumped into the bag. Please open the bottom carefully before use so the milk bag stands upright by itself before attaching it to the pump.
Care Instructions:
- Before first use and after each session, sterilise all washable parts (except the motor) by boiling or using suitable sterilisation methods.
- After each use, separate and wash all parts that come into contact with milk using warm, soapy water.
- Avoid using brushes or sharp tools on the valves, as they can damage the parts.
- Do not wash the motor unit. Wipe it gently with a damp cloth if needed.
- For sterilisation, boil parts (excluding the motor unit) or use a cold-water sterilising solution, steam steriliser, or UV steriliser. Do not microwave parts, as high humidity can damage them.
Note:
- Breast pump parts are not dishwasher safe
- NaturalFlow Baby Bottles can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher (max 65°C)
- Milk storage bags are single-use only—discard after use
