Smart Electric Breast Pump

1. Position the breast shield so your nipple is centred in the suction tunnel.

2. Hold the breast shield comfortably in place and support your breast with your hand.

3. Press the power button to switch on the pump. Select your preferred pumping mode and suction level.

4. After pumping, switch off the pump and place the dust cap over the breast shield before storing.

Breast Milk Storage Bags

1. Prepare
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Open the bottom of the storage bag so it stands upright, then connect it to the Smart Electric Breast Pump using the adapter provided.

2. Pump
Begin pumping and monitor the milk level. Do not fill the bag beyond the 150 ml mark.

Tip: If you plan to feed directly from the storage bag, you can skip to Step 6.

3. Seal & Label
Remove excess air, securely tighten the cap and write the expression date on the label before storing.

4. Store
Store bags upright in the refrigerator or lay them flat in the freezer for space-saving storage and faster thawing.

5. Thaw
Thaw overnight in the refrigerator or under warm running water (max. 37°C). Gently swirl the milk before feeding. Never microwave, boil or refreeze thawed breast milk.

6. Feed
Attach a Lola&Lykke NaturalFlow teat using the adapter to feed directly from the storage bag. Never leave your baby unattended during feeding.

How to Open the Milk Storage Bags

Care Instructions

Before first use and after every pumping session, wash and sterilise all washable parts that come into contact with breast milk.
Wash parts with warm water and mild washing-up liquid, rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry completely before reassembly or storage.
Do not wash, sterilise or immerse the motor unit in water. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth only.
Do not use brushes or sharp objects on silicone valves or other soft components.
Use a suitable sterilisation method for washable parts. Do not microwave pump components unless specifically intended for microwave sterilisation.
Breast milk storage bags are pre-sterilised and single-use only. Do not wash or reuse them.

Good to Know

The seams of the storage bags are heat-sealed and may not fully open by themselves. Gently open the bottom before attaching the bag so it stands upright.
Avoid touching the inside of the storage bag to help maintain hygiene.
Do not use the breast pump while charging.
Breast pump parts are not dishwasher safe.
NaturalFlow Baby Bottles are dishwasher safe on the top rack (max. 65°C).
Always pump at a suction level that feels comfortable.

Our award-winning signature product, the Smart Electric Breast Pump, comes in the box with all other breastfeeding accessories for an effortless breastfeeding experience. The breast pump kit also contains our anti-colic nipple teats and a baby bottle for a smooth transition from breast to bottle. All the spare parts needed for the breast pump have been included, so you can easily reassemble the pump while sterilizing the parts that have been used.

Our breast milk storage bags provide an ideal way to store, freeze and protect precious breastmilk. The pre-sterilized, leak-proof milk bags are ready to use and allow you to pump, store and feed easily – no more washing or milks spills!

This breastfeeding essentials kit also contains a unique cooler bag to keep your breast milk cold when out and about.

No, everything you need is in the box. No need to buy any other spare parts.

Breast shields are sometimes also called flanges. While comfort is often the driving determinant in figuring out the right size, using the correct sized breast shield will also make your pumping more efficient.

The starting point for choosing the correct breast shield is to determine your optimal size based on your nipple diameter.

- If your nipple measures under 17 mm in diameter, your recommended breast shield size is 21 mm.

- If your nipple measures under 20 mm in diameter, your recommended breast shield size is 24 mm.

- If your nipple measures under 25 mm in diameter, your recommended breast shield size is 27 mm.

The Kit includes 1x Breast Shield 24mm (comes with the breast pump). You can shop other sizes (21mm, 24mm, 27mm) at our shop.

To pump into the bag, attach the adapter to the milk bag and then to the breast pump. Begin pumping and make sure not to overfill the bag. When freezing do not fill bags more than ¾ full to allow space for expansion. Label bags with the date of pumping. When storing breastmilk in the bag, lay flat for fast freezing and thawing.

In order to preserve the components of the breastmilk, thaw in the refrigerator overnight or by holding the bag under running warm water (max. 37 °). Gently shake the bag to blend any fat that has separated. Thawed breastmilk is safe in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Do not thaw frozen breastmilk in a microwave oven or in a pan of boiling water. Do not refreeze thawed breastmilk.

To feed your baby directly from the milk bag, simply attach the bottle teat to it with the adapter. Never leave your baby unattended with a feeding bag.

The breastmilk bags are for use with breastmilk only. This is a single-use product and shall be disposed of after first use.

The nipple size you choose for your baby’s bottle determines the milk flow rate. Faster nipple flow sizes are meant for older babies because they eat more at each feeding and can handle the flow of milk better.

Lola&Lykke's Nipple Teats follow 3 sizes: 0M+ (Newborn), 3M+, and 6M+. All 3 sizes are included in the Breastfeeding Starter Kit.

SIZE 0M+ (NEWBORN)

An advanced BPA-free anti-colic teat with a slow flow rate suitable for newborns. This teat is also included in the pump box.

SIZE: 3M+

Medium flow teat is recommended for babies of 3+ months old. It has an extra soft silicone teat.

SIZE: 6M+

Fast flow teat is recommended for babies of 6+ months old. It has a bite-resistant silicone teat. This sturdier teat is ideal for bottle-feeding.
